Design services

We design for print because we understand print. Not a graphic design agency — a letterpress studio that designs with production in mind. Every design decision accounts for the process it will be produced with.

What we design

No minimum project size. If we can print it, we can design it. Most of our design work falls into these categories, but we are always open to something new.

Full design

Starting from scratch or from a rough concept. You bring the copy, logos, and direction. We handle layout, typography, color, and production-ready files. Every design is built for the specific printing process it will be produced with — letterpress, foil, or both.

Revisions are included. We work with you until it is right.

Prepress & file prep

You already have a design — from Canva, Illustrator, a PDF, or somewhere else — and it needs to be made print-ready. We handle bleed setup, dieline creation, color conversion, and trapping so your design translates cleanly to letterpress or foil.

This is the natural next step for the thousands of people designing their own projects in Canva or working with a graphic designer who does not specialize in letterpress production.

How it works

1

Tell us what you need

Fill out our project form with your details — what you are making, quantities, and any design direction you have in mind.

2

We quote it

Design and printing are quoted together or separately, your choice. You will know the full cost before we start.

3

Design rounds

We send concepts, you give feedback, we revise. Most projects go through two to three rounds before everything is dialed in.

4

Straight to press

Your approved design goes directly to our presses. No file handoff, no translation issues, no surprises. Same team, same roof.

Common questions

Can you work from my Canva file?
Yes. We work with Canva exports, PDFs, Illustrator files, and just about anything else. Our prepress service converts your design into production-ready files with correct bleed, color profiles, and trapping for letterpress or foil printing.
Do I have to buy printing with design?
No. Design and printing are quoted separately. You can hire us for design only, printing only, or both together. Most clients do both because it eliminates the handoff issues that come with separate vendors.
What do you need from me to get started?
For full design: your copy (the text), any logos or brand assets, and a sense of direction — examples you like, colors, general feel. For prepress: your design file in whatever format you have it, plus the specs for what you want printed.
How long does design take?
Most projects go through two to three rounds of revisions over two to four weeks. Prepress file prep is typically turned around in three to five business days. Timelines depend on project complexity and how quickly feedback comes back.
