Today we're sharing a guest post from Meryl at Jubilee Paper, showcasing an extensive invitation suite we printed for a destination wedding in Colombia. The couple desired invitations that were modern, colorful, and bilingual — described as having "the vibe of happy New York, if New York were happy."
The invitation suite
The design featured a square folio with two-color foil printing on the front displaying a bird of paradise flower. The interior black invitation card was mounted on light blue paper with black foil printing. Three letterpressed cards hung from string inside the folio. The entire suite was enclosed in vellum envelopes with calligraphy messaging, then placed in black outer envelopes with velvet liners, vintage stamps, and sent to guests.
