One of the printing techniques we enjoy using the most is the blind deboss, which simply means a letterpress impression without ink. This method of printing is excellent for adding a subtle detail to a business card or wedding invitation, with or without being combined with letterpress inks or foil stamping.
This particular card was printed using gold foil stamping and a blind deboss on French Poptone paper in Nightshift Blue. The opposite side was printed using blue ink and another blind deboss on white cotton paper and then duplexed after printing for a double-thick card.
The result is a card that invites you to look closer and run your fingers across the surface — discovering texture and detail that flat printing simply can't achieve.
